Have not been to the studio in weeks and have been reading. I think, Sandy, there is some kind of healing process going on that we must need. The seeds are germinating and we need to leave them alone for a while. They will eventually sprout. Have fun with your class!Raynahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02981832263645584878noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11217277.post-4277633131847628472010-02-13T07:30:31.602-05:002010-02-13T07:30:31.602-05:00Ugh, I hear you, I've been in a stuck spot for...Ugh, I hear you, I've been in a stuck spot for a while now. I would love to see more books from you - maybe something with a narrative (if you're looking for ideas from the peanut gallery).

About the life drawing class, did you know that someone (I think it was Melly Testa but I could be mis-remembering) took one with a sewing machine? She asked the moderator/teacher ahead of time and dragged in her machine instead of an easel and drawing pad and sketched with thread while everyone else used pen or pencil. I've always thought that was brilliant and wanted to try it. Maybe I'll start with still lifes in my studio...

janejane dávilahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01154488051571156643noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11217277.post-6048614435675778452010-02-13T01:16:23.446-05:002010-02-13T01:16:23.446-05:00You just have a bad case of the Februaries. March is just around the corner, and while for you, that will be nice, for us it will still be winter, but LESS winter than what we are having now.

Got it?

Cheers,
Jo in MNStellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04890014621743537798noreply@blogger.com
