Oh Horrors:
It may be a challenging day for you, especially if you are struggling because you're spread too thin. It gets even worse if others are demanding that you take care of everything right away. You could get so angry that you dig in your heels and do nothing at all. Unfortunately, your inflexibility isn't a smart tactic. Don't get discouraged, even if you cannot see a sensible solution now. If you set priorities and take care of the basics first, you'll have time and energy left over to make a bit of magic, too.

Yup, spread too thin, that's me- if only it actually worked on the body too. But right now I AM trying to do too much. I had a guy ion the studio the other day for the first time and he was going around touching stuff but was really only drawn to the pile of old quilts, mostly bed quilts, in the bathroom stacks. I pulled out four or five and he decided he wanted one for the bottom of his bed, in brown.

I don't think so. I already have one bed quilt in the pipeline because it's what I have to do (as a mom) for my son and fiance, already promised. I will be able to talk them out of brown too. It's a shame this guy didn't go for more of my wall offerings (many actually 'in brown') but the word 'quilt' didn't translate to a wall for him. I just have so many other things I need to do before I die, and making bedquilts, no matter how lucrative, ain't one of them. Now I have to tell him I'm not interested, not that I ever told him I was... just have to make it official.

*Priorities*, just like the Horror said. Now, off I go to the studio to make some of that so-called magic. (Oh, I kill myself sometimes...)
