This was all brought about by a picture V sent me of a project whe wants me to do. Yeah right. Molly As Ewok. Ain't gonna happen.

I've spent the day futzing around looking for an old recipe for a swiss chard freeform tart that had layers- as I remember one was onions or leeks or maybe cauliflower- somenthing white at least, and the third was red so must have been red peppers. Can't find anything like it anywhere. Also, I have made my rosemary sorbet today finally- now who is going to stop me from eating it all?
Rosemary/Lemon Sorbet
2 c. simple syrup (1 c. water and 1 c. sugar heated to dissolve sugar)
juice of 1 lemon
handful of fresh rosemary leaves
Simmer together for a few minutes, remove from heat and let cool.
1 c. lemonade or fresh juice from 3 lemons
Optional: lemon zest from 1 lemon
2 eggwhites
Stir together and put in ice cream freezer, process as directed. Freeze.
This is great with thin dry cornmeal cookies. OR---try adding a scoop to a glass of ice tea instead of ice! OR---stand in front of the freezer with the door open and s spoon in your hand.
