snap, crackle, and Pops

Aaurghhhh


We're invited to hear the Pops and see the fireworks tonight from the roof of a friend's condo in Back Bay- this all sounds quite lovely until you realize that there are a minimum of 500,000 people in that area all watching the same thing and when it's over, all heading for the same 'T' station loaded with their sleeping children, their folding chairs and their picnic baskets. I have no idea how in hell we will get down there, or even worse, get home-it's a very long walk. To make matters worse, I just read that the feature act is a new genre called 'hick hop', and some country singer I have never heard of. Guess I will wear my sneakers, bring some power bars, and a jacket for the ----long---- walk---- home. Hmmm, I better bring sun block too because I will probably still be walking in the morning.
