As wakeup of season pebbledash

You have got to love these spam headers!

Knitting Update:

My Koigu Toreador sweater passed Meg's muster last night- had to show it without one sleeve finished and I gotta say it looked much better on her than on me- guess it's a size thing. Anyway, I think I will indeed add on to the sleeves beyond what the pattern says- I don't need no stinkin' pattern anyway. So, finally, here's the Almost-Completed picture. Hmmm, in real life it's less 'blue' and more 'navy'.

Cute Dog Update:
Molly got her haircut and pedicure today, looks like she got caught in a leaf chopper so I will try to get her to hold still for a clean-up. At least she will be able to go outside without getting heat prostration now- and of course now that I have done this to her the temperature will go down to the 40's (oh, one can only hope).

And I got my face lasered yesterday for the rosacea so look terrible today with big lumps like mosquito bites all over my face and chest. Sure hope it calms down before tomorrow when I have to go to the Armenian church for the memorial service for my MIL. Wish I could just wear one of those black Jackie O veils but I think they have gone out of style a few decades ago. Too bad, they had their place .

Not to be a bitch or nothing, but I agree that the sweater looked great on me, and therefore should be donated to me. I offered to replace the yarn (I do have a wee bit of Koigu), but Sandy insisted that she wanted to keep her jacket. The knitting is beautiful, and the combination of the greys and dark blues was subtle. Will go great with jeans.
