Which Type or Avaricious Hallucinogenic

Yeah, I know you saw this yesterday but I got an e-mail that the image was too small so I am posting one of them again. Also, someone else asked about framing- this is done on a gallery canvas so the sides are finished nicely- it's ready to hang on any available nail you already have protruding from your wall. Prefer goats to grapes, or geese to either? You can be accomodated!

Yesterday I got an e-mail from the son of my former best friend who died a few years ago of breast cancer. He and his brother do the annual Pan-Mass challenge riding their bikes across the state raising money for cancer research, and he was thanking me for the donation. He and his wife are expecting their first baby in the next two weeks and are so happy- I only wish Linda was around because this is all she wanted to see before her disease took her. Anyway, I am in the process of being happy FOR her- it's the least I can do. That, and make a stellar baby quilt.

Also got a call last night from an old neighbor, a local celebrity who wants us to sponsor him for a membership. They have a daughter that Nate was temporarily interested in way back when, and she is back in the Boston area working as an artist and fashion designer- sounds like a perfect match for an art director, doesn't it? Yup. I now have to figure out how to get his info to her or get her info to him- I already tried Google and came up with zip. I think the easiest NONINVASIVE method will be to send Nate's phone and e-mail addresses to the parents and have them pass it on. That way if the girl is interested she can give him a call, if not no one (ie Nate) will be the wiser. He doesn't think my meddling is helpful. How silly.

Just finished the daunting task of submitting three quilts to the NEQM for inclusion in their permanent collection. I have put this off for over a year now so knew I had to get it done this fall before the committee meets. I submitted ADIROLF,

LOTUS EATERS, and
INTERESTING THINGS YOU CAN DO WITH BEETS

because they are all made of vintage fabrics, they all have hand applique and quilting, and they are all embellished and over-the-top. Have to mail the envelope to get that off my head.

So, now it's time to get back to work.
