Change of Plans! What else is new?
The camera is charging or I would take a picture of the back of the sweater. The Palm is hot synced, next I have to realign the iPod and get rid of some 'dead wood'. I have all their various cords lined up on the dining room table ready to pack. And the plans change. TY decided he doesn't want to make a swing by Buffalo on the way to Florida so he is excused from that loop. Now he is driving Molly down by himself so he can get there in 3 days, and I am driving to Buffalo by myself and I can get there and home to Boston in 3 days. Then I will fly to Florida- got a ticket for $69 so it sure is cheap enough, and I can take my time figuring out where I am. See, I need to pack for eventual trips to Buffalo in the really bad weather, trip to Philly in the cold but not so bad weather, and then somehow manage to haul stuff to Florida that I need there.
So tell me, why does it cost $69 to go to West Palm nonstop from Boston and $909 to go to Buffalo nonstop from Boston? Something is fishy, seems like they should fly to Buffalo for free and charge megabucks for the winter flights to PBI, eh?
Froze up the rest of the Smithfield-ish ham into small baggies for future use in Chinese dishes. I have a life-time supply here. Got rid of lots of other stuff- little do my dinner guests know that I was unloading past-due dated foodstuffs on 'em. Also froze the 35 chicken breasts I bought as back-up in case the ham was godawful. Family pack- long time since I bought that. I threw out my little pumpkins and the bittersweet, tossed the kale centerpiece with the almost-black roses that broke my very favorite red cabbage huge bowl when it slid offcenter into the sink. I got it at Signature Gallery which closed about a year ago so I can't even find the artist to replace it (yeah, I already did a futile Google search and got 100 cabbage recipes) If I was going to be here longer I would call the historical restoration place that does museum work. I am not even sure I have all the teensy shards.
Time to go reinvent the iPod wheel.
