Tried to watch Project Runway last night and got as far as the models starting the parade, woke up at 1:15 and there it was on again but there was a half hour before we would get to where I fell asleep so I turned on the lights and sat up straight. And woke up AGAIN at 2:11 and picked up the show a third time. Needless to say I woke up again about 4AM and turned out the lights, dismissed whatever Gunthy-Renker was trying to sell me and plugged 'Gilgamesh' into my ear. I soert of drifted iin and out until it was time to hit the pavement with Molly at 6:30. As soon as I got in I hunted down Tim and he told me the news about Kara. So, there is still a chance someone will kneecap Santino- let it be me! At least I don't have to watch the reruns again and again.
Here are some of the quilts my students made in the Free-Form Circles class. It turned out to be a fun class for everyone because they were pushed to try more intuitive piecing. All I could think about with some of them was Mrs Gibson, my home ec teacher back in Junior High who was a perfectionist and rule follower. Well, that's also a description of my mom but we won't go there this morning- here are the quilts:
