Implants From Wired.com. this great news- you can now have little implants of horns or lines or objects put under your skin so you too can take on an alien appearance. The teensy problem is that since these 'operations' are not medically sanctioned, it's not usually possibel to get anesthetic so you just bite down on your bullet to get through it.
Also, along the lines of odd choices, you can have little chairs by different famous designers tattooed on yourself. It's quite the thing to have a shelf full of these miniature collectibles and they are pretty expensive to gather the whole set. These tattoos, by Nick (http://www.nickbaxter.com/) in Branford CT, who is a fabulous artist as you can see, serve a similar purpose. But frankly I think I would rather collect the miniature chairs and keep 'em on a shelf.

I just showed my husband the Tattoos and he wanted to know if you knew the name of the shop - I'm pretty sure he isn't looking to add a chair, but the work is really well done (the wired stuff is too weird - IMHO)
The cool thing about the chair tattoos is that when you gain weight the Eames chair turns into a Barcalounger.
