Eurasia the Horseback

Here is my favorite decoupage plate to date- I call it 'Nailgun' because it was a strip of nails on the ground getting rusty at the building site down the street when I found it. I only wish it were larger- whan I get back to my wide printer I may try it again- maybe a cake plate made from nails? We'll see, I just may have this whole thing out of my system by the end of the month. I know I will be out of plates!

The Portrait of the Mastermind Seems I am an iNTj, a MASTERMIND RATIONAL- not a pretty sight.

This all came about because someone posted 'prayers for Myers Briggs types', so I had to go take the bloody test so I knew which prayer was mine. Now I know and unfortunately you will all probably agree: "INTJ: Lord keep me open to others' ideas, WRONG though they may be."

I spent most of the day working on getting the next batch of plates finished up and backed with the spray paint. I sand off the excess glue and the little folds on the papers, then take them out to the patio and blast 'em with Home Depot's best. Did I tell you that I have to show ID before they will sell it to me? Like I am going to go paint boxcars or something... SO here they are, first the Rust series that I have redone-

The middle on picked up a lot of reflection so the picture wasn't good, but I really like this series and it will probably be the one I keep.

Next I have a new sky series, and these are pretty popular so I will probably be making more soon- this size is small, maybe 5" saucer shaped dishes. They were advertised as 'appetizer plates' so that's what I bill them as.

And today's NEW feature- the Banyon tree at the dogpark! What an amazing tree, such variety! I took pictures all around it, about 30 I think, so I am uusing the images on everything I can touch today!

And I finished before midnight! Goodnight

Where are you selling these?

I can see a series of these (non-sky ones, that is) on a wall with dark (maybe even black) paint. Gorgeous!
