Waiting for the Moles
Hoo haa, I am waiting for all the 'M' animals, heartily welcoming them, and maybe they will go find me the Muse one day. Reward: Dead of Alive.
Meanwhile, a friend sent me this link and it has made my day. Flattery
Last night after dinner (damn, I hate sharing my baked potato) Staples was still open so I ran in for some foam core for the Banyon sculpture I am gestating. The day before I found some lining fabric- I went to two fabric stores looking for GRAY and it simply doesn't exist in FL, so I got bright growing-things green instead and it will be fine. I hope to get the sewing part done today so I can fit it to the base this weekend. I also got a whole new set of inks for the thirsty printer here- I seem to be gooing through them very fast printing my photos for the decoupage. I plan on doing the rest of the pieces I have ready to go, then calling a halt to the process- I had about 20 inquiries before I was selling them but once they were actually up on Etsy all those 'fans' had something better to do apparently. Oh well, I am all set for gifts for the next millenium.
Today, even thought my Walking Nazi is out of town and I thought I could take a break, I have another friend who arrived and wants to walk. So I am off at 8:30 and we'll see what a long legged lady from Dallas will do to me.
Now, back to art related, like I am supposed to be talking about, not moles of the 4 legged variety. I want to work on the banyon stitching today, maybe start the form for it, knit a few more inches in the last sleeve of the red Koigu, felt some more of Molly's hair into beads, and shop for food for dinner guests. That should make my day full enough to justify existance another few hours.
