Waiting for some Monkeys

I made 15 new plates yesterday, and today was the finishing process on all of them: two coats of sealer, a spray on metallic paint for the bottoms. sanding and polishing the edges, and adding the coat of gold or silver trim at the end. So, tonight I have them all lined up and sparkling at me. Actually these pictures were taken before the back coats were done so may look a bit transparent still. Once that is on they become completely opaque. I am keeping the rust series, happen to love the wee bowls and will take them back to Boston when I close down the Etsy show for the season. The two flower plates will be birthday presents for a SIL and a friend- both next week. So, here goes:
