Mussy Me

All these days as I have been waiting for my poor half price quilts to **FLY** out of the house I have been busy. I guess I am most surprised that I haven't even gotten comments!

Tuesday the crit group had a little workshop/meeting where for once we all attended. Nancy ran a little class on gelatin prints, and in spite of the 90 degree weather and us working outside in the sun we managed to get a few hours in before the plates turned to goo. Fun day, and it was so nice to have the whole bunch there- a rare occurance these days with me gone all winter and Judy gone all summer, and Sylvia back and forth to Switzerland, and so many of our parents dying all at once! So here is what I ended up with- of course I have about 30 prints, but I kept overprinting things and several have dried to mostly black. Sigh. Story of my art.

Now it looks like I will have to order bulk gelatin so I can start some plates of my own- I am so good at generating kitchen mess, and I would love to work larger than out little 6" plates at Nancy's. And now here are some links that I had pulled a few days ago but forgot to stick on the blog:

Wow- My Molly would love a product like this named for her! But is something is ever called SandisChoice, I hope it's margarita flavored.

Retro news announcement, worth it for the pictures alone

Like, this is an important like message

Poor turtle! And all these years I was clipping these things to protect ducks!

Some very nice textiles

Some great new lamps to light up your life

I love the middle one- looks like sections of citrus to me. And, I am on a lime green kick-
