To Join or Not To Join, That is the Question
Interesting two quotes from Robert Genn's newsletter today. Looks like I am currently following Braques advice, I could be in worse company.

I'm finding it hard to join at the moment. I belonged to SAQA quite a while ago and rejoined last year. I figured it might get me some info about shows to enter. I'm glad my expectations were pretty low. I'm not renewing. As far as I can tell it mainly gives people something to put on their resume under "professional organizations". OH well. Different strokes.
I'm trying to stay open to some sort of local artists' coffee klatsch or something like that. But then I meet some local artists and think - um no thank you. LOL. OK, I guess I'm definitely in a no-join mood!
That's it? You are leaving us hanging? Where's the rest?
