two more collages that are finished, with one still in progress:
The other day I started working with some red-to-black ombre yarn that is half soy and half wool. I wanted a simple cable up the center so I have it about half done- I say that because I finished one skein and started the second today. I hope I have something left to do an edge to fluff it up a bit, but I really don't need a warm scarf except to visit Boston in a few weeks. Like I don't have 27 already.
I am mounting the turtle necklace on some linen I had leftover from another project. I was going to wear it but find that it is really too fragile- the little turtles keep ripping their feet and the jagged edges of the ping pong balls hurt my neck- this is no place for turtlenecks!
And one more pass at the Buck quilt, a close-up of the new Bernina and what it is doing to the leaves. Love the machine, wish I would have bought it several years ago. In contrast is the buck body which was done with the old mechanical- I think I need to re-do parts to make the areas more compatible now. By the weekend...

And now I am going out on a ride on my newly tuned-up old bike! And no, I don't use a helmet.
