It has multiple work stations around the attic room, covered with what she calls a 'pressed linseed material'- (something that has always been called linoleum in my book but of course I am as yet unpublished...) and all outfitted completely for whatever 'craft' they are intended for. There is a large cutting table in the center and lots and lots of dead storage as well as live storage for things used all the time. Hell, I don't own a special ribbon box even... let alone 20 pairs of special deckle edge scissors. OR an embroidery machine OR a Vaio laptop OR matching archival linen boxes for keeping track, in alphabetical order, my dog groomers names. I don't even have a plushy cat to stand on my damask pillows with the silver binding (in progress). What Martha didn't have was room to spread a project out. Or a Gammel (though it's probably in her special Gammel-house on the back property). The one that overlooks the sheep grazing, NOT the one that overlooks the riding ring.
But I digress.
Geesh, and I thought I was so lucky to have a vacant room to plan, even though it has to save 2 square feet in the closet for the blow-up bed. Oh, did I mention her space is 43' long x 14' wide? I'm gonna go eat worms.
