Knit Fever

Time is closing in, my knitting is getting frantic and I finally got around to photgraphing a few things before I send them off to the Ipswich clams (called that because they won't tell me the chosen baby name!).

First here is the finished Cow Sweater. I made this in the largest size, 24 months, so it looks simply huge to me after the teensy things I have been involved with. I am currently working on the hat to match and trying to stretch out the very small amount of cow-spot grey I have left- hope I make it. I'm even leaving off a few spots.

Then I finally gave into my Tilli Thomas urges and made little Mary Jane booties and a wee hat to match complete with tiny sequins and little moon buttons on the ankle straps. This is silk yarn, ridiculously expensive, but I couldn't resist. Hope I at least can get a picture of her in it. And I hope I don't get yelled at for this being completely UN-gender neutral.

And finally another little hat I made up as I went along- this is very small, probably only good if the poor child doesn't take after me with a head ready for a really really smart person, but left unfilled. I've resurected the grapefruit as my model again. This should fit her for maybe a week...

TY just arrived home after being stranded two extra days in Atlanta and he remembered to bring me See's Candies. So my day is now mapped out for me- at least until the candy is finished!

If you ever get desperate, you have a candy connection in ATL.

Love the cow sweater. Smart to make it big. My 10 month old granddaughter is now wearing 18 mo. size clothes. All the cute, tiny things I made and bought were whizzed through in the blink of an eye.
