I have only seen live jellyfish in the Monterey Aquarium and was blown away by their beauty. Now I find out that some of them are over 400# and taller than a man- some of the images I found online were downright scary. So much for me thinking my own 6' jellyfish were out of the ordinary. Now, I have to figure out how to LIGHT the costumes, because flapping bubblewrap just isn't going to measure up with these guys!
The costume I finished was OK'ed by the future wearer! Yeaaaa, now to start the second one with the inspirations above.
The Wandering Philadelphian made it this far, but she left her home at 3:45 AM! Just time for breakfast at the diner---then a quick fill-up and back on the road due north. Hope she made it safely because it's a long trip up there. Picked up TY standing on the street because he couldn't get into the house without a key, duh..., madder than a hatter. But he calmed himself down to go spend the rest of the day out at the beach watching a tremendous rainstorm plow it's way through, but the lamb shish made it worth the trip. Lord knows I don't go to the beach for tanning possibilities.

Think I have some fiber optic stuff floating around the studio . . . wanna give it a whirl for that costume?
