Day of Reckoning

Starting today with the horoscope, unfortunate
Your attractions are strong today as the Moon in your sign enables you to express what you want. There isn't any question in anyone's mind what you're feeling, because you probably won't be able to keep your desires hidden. Even if your emotions are too much to openly share, it's best not to push them away or they could explode at an inconvenient moment.
SO, here I am 'expressing'...  What it doesn't tell you is that I am driving TY to the doctor this morning for his surgery and thus starting my 6 week incarceration at home.  I might as well be installed with a Lindsey Lohan ankle bracelet, or at least I should get in touch with her and get tips on how to override the system.  I won't get out much other than to drive him about hither and yon.  Because the Achilles tendon he is having worked on today is his right foot, he won't be able to drive for weeks and weeks until the big boot is off.  He is hoping that he gets the tendon of a deceased race car driver this time so he will have that 'muscle memory' when he gets back in his Cobra.

Meanwhile, where do I sign this stint of home-care up for 'Community Service' credits? We have a stack of new books, some saved-for-special dvds, and I have even entertained the idea of getting him an iPad to play with if I can find one for immediate gratification.  Everything but a mobile over his bed...

Get him an iPad pronto.
You can get one on eBay for just a couple dollars over cost and he'll have it right away.

It is going to make his recovery much easier on YOU. And when he's well YOU can have it for being such a good nurse, and perfect wife!

Given how deeply you think this will be affecting your equilibrium it sounds like you should be looking into hired help..The cost would more than offset your need for several weeks in a mental/physical Spa somewhere to recover from your stint as Nurse Ratchet.

It's my experience that the Nurse Ratchet thing is very hard to shake even after the need fades.

The caregiver needs to take care of herself, dearie. What do they say? Put on your oxygen mask first or you won't be able to help anybody else.

Ty can fend while you go to the day spa.
