The Beat Goes On

Have you all seen the ad where a lady pops into the tv screen and says,

'HI, I'M SANDY AND I HEAR YA HAVE A QUILT PROBLEM'!
I think they are selling paper towels and have no clue how that is related to quilts but how do they know I am here to help you with a 'quilt problem'?  Because basically if you have a quilt problem, then *I* have a quilt problem.

And here it is for today, you can share it with me if you're a Leo---

If you work hard and take care of all your assignments and chores, you should have enough time left over today to pursue more creative interests. But if you're going to tap into your artistic side now, it would be wise to set productivity aside and just express yourself for the sheer enjoyment of it. If your process leads to something useful, consider it a bonus.
Creative Interests, check. No productivity, check.  Sheer enjoyment, ummm...  OK, I'll give it a shot.

Yesterday I met up with an old friend and former neighbor and we yakked and caught up on 5 assorted kids and four assorted grandkids along with former neighbors in good shape and bad.  Must have been something in the water up there on Bird Hill all those years ago.  Anyway, we went out and walked the Brook Path for old times sake, and then afterwards I hit the consignment shop in town.  Because I can't not go there when I am so close.

Today I spent the morning on the alphabet book and am feeling like it will actually be a reality.  I go to sleep figuring out how to bind it together, wake up at 2 still thinking it out, and then at 6, I wake up with the problem still unsolved.  If I can't figure out a workable binding I will just bind them all separately (gag me-  there are 28 pages!) and put them into a presentation box.  But in reality I want them together in ONE unit because they have enough toys with parts strewn everywhere and I am sure their mother wouldn't appreciate 28 more pieces to deal with, not counting a box.

I took another picture but left spaces between all the unfinished letters and it's so depressing I won't post it until some more spaces are filled.  Also, TY was not happy with my 'D', says it isn't a dromedary so I decided it is 'desert' but he doesn't like that either so now it will be 'Oasis' if I can get the 'D' and the pencil lines off.  Now the hunt is back on for a good 'D' choice again.  I am taking the 'O' off some not terribly exciting olive fabric.  Do you give a crap about this?  You better because it will be all I will talk about for the next few months!

Unless of course I can talk about these:
On sale, On line, They are my Birthday Shoes!

So, tonight I am watching Santino and Austin Scarlet making some farmy pageant dresses out of found materials that should have been burned as they came off the bolts.  What the hell is this show about?  I got busy knitting on the coat tonight and with my hands occupied I didn't switch around on channels.  Oh, the title they win is "Miss Brickfest".  Save me.  I am going back to CSI where I can recite along every script with the actors because I've seen the reruns so many times.

Oh, before I go, I had a query about my duck eggs.  Actually several queries.  Yeah, I used them all.  Yeah, TY wasn't a happy camper when presented with them, but Molly thought they were swell and always wants a second one-  but she is a pig for eggs to the point we have to spell it around here and not discerning in the least as to what animal produced them.  My feeling was of Underwhelmitude.  Eggs-is- eggs as far as I am concerned and I'll be sticking to readily available chickens from now on
