a particularly creepy Santa. Poor old guy doesn't even have a proper reindeer!
I spent yesterday afternoon at the Maul picking up some presents before I head home, just a few little things to give out to the kids at the family party. It was fun but I about ran out of steam on the whole Christmas thing. Still have some things to pick up when I get back to Boston for the older kids but at least I know where to head on a quick shopping trip.
from 1st dibs, the ONLY thing I really want fo Christmas. I just love this old house model. Is anybody listening? Sigh. I didn't think so.
My major purchase the other day, a giant disco ball. TY says it has to go to my studio when Christmas is over but I love how it sends light all over the house. Above is early morning in the front hall, below is the living room ceiling caught a few minutes too late- it is covered with these light flickers when the sun hits, and I love it. OK, so it's tacky. I still love it.
Speaking of tacky, here is my Christmas decoration, I hung a bunch of silver ornaments on the dining room chandelier. Festive? You betcha. Works for me.
