a particularly creepy Santa. Poor old guy doesn't even have a proper reindeer!
I spent yesterday afternoon at the Maul picking up some presents before I head home, just a few little things to give out to the kids at the family party. It was fun but I about ran out of steam on the whole Christmas thing. Still have some things to pick up when I get back to Boston for the older kids but at least I know where to head on a quick shopping trip.
from 1st dibs, the ONLY thing I really want fo Christmas. I just love this old house model. Is anybody listening? Sigh. I didn't think so.My major purchase the other day, a giant disco ball. TY says it has to go to my studio when Christmas is over but I love how it sends light all over the house. Above is early morning in the front hall, below is the living room ceiling caught a few minutes too late- it is covered with these light flickers when the sun hits, and I love it. OK, so it's tacky. I still love it.
Speaking of tacky, here is my Christmas decoration, I hung a bunch of silver ornaments on the dining room chandelier. Festive? You betcha. Works for me.
And finally, Sylvia sent me this guy blowing bubbles, again more reflected sparkly light! Love the kids reactions.
