Creepy Christmas
And winging right away from *that*, I have found a bunch or wallpapers that I want someone to give me. Doesn't anyone give wallpaper any more? They should. Let me measure so you can order...
Outdoor 'wallpaper' made of cut stainless steel- wonderful as a design element in a garden or a screen for a bit of privacy! This is the Damask pattern. This one is designed to go over old wallpaper and let it show through in interesting ways- great if you have something interesting to see- maybe a damages peeling wall? Maybe an old wallpaper that needs an update but you still like? Maybe for a Swiss cheese themed room?
I've always had a soft spot in my heart for mural wallpapers, probably dating from the tiny room we filled with a Breugal blow-up print of a town square way back when. It was endlessly amusing to find new little figures in the scene and see what they were doing. When I went to find it again years later in our new house, unfortunately it had gone out of print (maybe also out of style?). But now I find THIS! Pantone colors rearranged into a sunset! Love it. How cool for a wall in the studio (like I have a wall to spare!) Here is the close-up with the labled colors.
Winging from wallpapers to knitted gifts, I have two spectacular choices. First is a set of knitted pillows made to look like logs. I don't think you can buy this little bear, but maybe you already have one? Love these pillows. TY would hate them.
Found a bear for ya! This is also knitted but in a beanbag form. Since he appears to be in hibernation I imagine it's OK to cuddle him without fear of getting shot by a Palin sharpshooter.
Now, finally, the best calendar I have ever seen! It's knitted and you hang it on the wall. At the bottom is a loose thread and as the days go by you simply pull the thread and it unravels into a pile on the floor. The close-up of the days here:
And a too-small picture of the calendar days unraveling! I 'spose you could reknit it all back into something else at the end of the year if you were so inclined!
All of the above from Greener Grass Designs. I love this site!
Say one of your pals has been dying for some knitted beans. Well, now you can come to her rescue because the pattern is HERE.
If you like your beans larger, you're in luck- more instructions HERE for these poufs.
No instructions on this one, a knitted self portrait by Veronica Gritsay. Yours, of course, will be different, but you knew that. Amazing, Veronica!

That is the grossest Santa I've ever seen and certainly never imagines. Ugh. However, you have redeemed yourself with all of your other lovelies, especially the knitted things and the outdoor wallpaper. Good luck on the broken tooth. Ow!
