I've had a bad few days here, unable to get a single thing done because of outside forces so I am finally back in the studio doing the drawing necessary to go further for this quilt. I think I've finished it, but now realize the old quilt top I am planning on using in the background is pretty stained and spotty so I'm going to take that home and work on it today though I am a little nervous how the dark red old dyes will wash. Wish me luck.
You are in a more playful frame of mind today and can make use of your clever intelligence * to entertain others. Unfortunately, everything isn't all fun and games now because there's so much work to do. Self-confidence may be one of your strengths, but don't get too cocky about your ability to juggle your responsibilities or you might fall short while trying to handle too many things at once. Cut back on your commitments so you can do the best job possible.*betcha didn't know about that!
And I am now off to the post office to mail out my Ironstone Book to Massachusetts. I'll tell you what's happening there when I hear back in a few days. Before I go I must do a small battle with a pile of red ants and a daddy long-legs that have died inappropriately. Seems like I am surrounded by death lately. Hope it doesn't spread to any mammals.

Just learned it is the same for bamboo. It blooms only once and then dies. We are trying once again to sell our old house and our beautiful, babied and loved big old bamboo clump is dead. Looks really crappy. I really did love that bamboo. It was the kind that clumps, but doesn't spread and it cost a freakin' fortune. It doesn't pay to fall in love with big exotic plants. Maybe we need to stick to sunflowers.
