Ketchup Still

Finally remembered to grab these two nice shots taken by TY at the Lake Worth Street Art Festival. Both of these were kids working for high school groups, though it wasn't clear which ones. The little blond was most certainly more interested in decorating herself rather than the street.
I first came upon street art with a guy called 'Sidewalk Sam' back in Boston. His actual name is Robert Guillemin and he has been around forever. He was sponsored at various sites to produce copies of old masters, a suprise indeed when encountered on a street at gigantic sizes. He was hired for all sorts of publ;ic events and eventually became almost a folk artist- people would go to events just looking for him. Tragedy struck when he fell off his roof doing some sort of routine maintanence, and resulting in him being paralized from the chest down. It didn't stop him for long- he began reappearing at events and soon became in charge of his paintings again. Amazing guy.

If this offends your ears, turn down the sound, but keep looking till the end, you can stand it, afterall what else do you have to do if you are visiting this blog?

Yes, it's TOILE WALLPAPER, my favorite. How I wish I had this to cut up and make stories from. Pass the glue, please.

(This is so disappointing, all this time I thought it was me!)
