'I WISH THIS WAS
stuck to a thinner person'!
*Today I called a guy who actually cleans upholstry on outdoor cushions. We'll see if my dirty white canvas will stop him in his tracks.
*I also mailed out my preliminary project to the author to see if it works for her.
*And I sent off my Quilters Connection entry forms so the Hudson River quilt has a debut on the calendar.
*I started a sweater, just a teeshirt sweater really, to go with the striped zig zag shawl.
*I mailed off a thank you for a big stack of lace that a woman in Boston sent me for no good reason- beautiful crocheted pieces of all sorts that I don't think I could ever (ahem) cut up.
*I cleaned the freezer out a bit- tossed a few unknowns and defrosted a few questionables which we will eat and hopefully not die from this week.
I never made it to the studio today, was beat after the morning walk, the meeting and lunch out. I had finished up the project presentation yesterday and guess I badly needed some time off to take care of life-things around home. One of the Issues with having a studio is it is guilt provoking on days I don't accomplish something there! The thing is, I would happily LIVE there if it had hot water and perhaps a few fewer bug carcasses. And maybe a washer and dryer. And a stove would be nice. I could sleep on the 'dry' table, even though the 'wet' table would be more comfortable. Lord knows I have the quilts for it. I could be 'The Princess and the Rotary Cutter' since there aren't a lot of peas there.
Oh oh. I have to pee. See you tomorrow.
