Produce Haunt Box

Since I have about covered the turkey feather subject and it's now after Thanksgiving, I will spend my time finding YOU some spectacular gift ideas for Christmas, or whatever.  First, a new way for us gals to carry a bag on a bike.  And it's available HERE

And comes in several pretty nice colors.  I bet it ages well too with all the rubbing it will get.  (Aw, c'mon-  I bet you were thinking that too!)

Had a good day in the studio yesterday, arrived at 9 and was home by 4 and worked the whole time with no messing around on the vast internets like I usually end up doing.  I got the whole top piece appliquéd and in good form to move on to the second banner part.  When I arrived there was nobody, and I mean NO cars in the industrial park- guess they all took Friday off to stand in lines to buy cheap stuff the stores discounted to get rid of.  Anyway, Miss Molly likes to start off her studio day by sniffing ever friggin' blade of grass on our personal grassy knoll, so we headed over towards it but there was an awful lot of crashing and banging coming from the dumpster right next to the knoll so all I could imagine was the two of us fighting off a herd of raccoons, really mad ones!  I pulled her right inside, locked the door (because those critters have tiny hands and could probably pick the lock!)  and went to work.  Molly pouted for the entire day and was doing overtime begging for cookies to get even.
See?  Tiny hands...
I cannot imagine what the raccoons are looking for-  the plumbing supply guy dumps in old porcelain stuff like broken toilets, the skateboard guy dumps plywood edges, the car guy throws in chunks of old metal, and everybody has tons of cardboard, and occasionally there is wire or metal pipe but there is always a pickup truck with a couple of guys grabbing that before it'a carted off.  It's not like old sandwich heaven out there.

I've been hearing about a new restaurant, Italian, from several people, but they all caution that it's Really Small and you need reservations.  I told TY about it and we decided to give it a shot at 5 last night, thinking we might have a shot at getting in.  We did, it was really REALLY good and I'm not telling anybody about it ever so we can go again perhaps later so I don't feel like I'm getting an extraordinarily large late lunch!  Unfortunately I was over-served a pretty nice zin and lost the rest of the evening.  So, if I really like you, I will call for reservations so we can go again and I can show it to you.  You'll love it, and eat very well.

And off I go to see about the second section of the Four Turkeys piece, hope that I can accomplish more again today, and maybe start picking up the mess I've made.
