There's this thing called the Szpilman Award that is granted to works that exist only for a moment or a short period of time. The purpose of the award is to promote such works whose forms consist of ephemeral situations. This year's winner is Jaroslav Kysa who did the documentation video above called ' The Barrier' where he uses pigeons to form barriers to places in the city. More information and the winners video documentations from past years is available HERE. Take a minute (OK, a bit longer than that- you'll get hooked!) and check out these ephemeral works of art!
