The secret of a good sermon is to have a good beginning and a goodending; and to have the two as close together as possible. George Burns(And that goes for blog posts too. I promise to do better at shortening them.)
A new artist to me, but then again I don't follow glass very frequently, is Amber Cowan. She makes her sculptures from recycled and found glass items .This first photo shows some slightly reworked things where you can see where it started, then the second photo is an advancement into losing the original items. Fabulous work, and she is getting the recognition she deserves at a very young age.

All colors are the friends of their neighbors and the lovers of their opposites. Marc Chagall.
Thanksgiving Dinner:
How cool would this be for a couple of kids- would definitely keep them at the table until the bitter end. My only concern is getting trains big enough to haul a pie around!
