"Creativity takes courage." - Henri Matisse
Glued to the television this afternoon watching the chaos in Copley Square, the scene of the marathon end. I simply can't fathom a motivation for this, and my heart goes out to all the poor runners who finished in time to witness such an act. Of course I tried to call my kids because we always watched the marathon from our front yard as a Patriot's Day tradition. Now they've cut off cell service to Boston so I'll try later. Earlier I had been scanning pictures to see any taken in Wellesley- looking for our old house on the route and hoping someone would be out in front handing out oranges and cups of water. It came as quite a shock later as I heard about the explosions on the car radio so raced home to the tv. So sad that even something as innocuous as a marathon is now subject to more regulation.
Rock Star Tee Shirts for another crowd, thanks to Fab. I like the first one, Rock on, Charles and Ray!
And another cool tee-shirt with 'LUCK" embroidered on the side so it's always with you! Love this, it just may be on my radar to do. Just find a fancy font, back up the jersey, and stitch away

Dog Wants Kitten:
Horse Ears
Last night we watched a documentary about Gypsy Vanner Horses and I am in love! They are the most beautiful animals I've ever seen- long feathers, flowing mane and tail, and they show in black and white spots o brown and white spots. So, IF I had a horse, it would have to be a Gypsy Vanner! If my grandkids could afford a horse, I'd help them buy a Gypsy Vanner. If I ever ride again, it will be Gypsy Vanner. AND the good news is that they are being carefully bred here in Florida. Gypsy Vanners are bred for their intelligance, puppy dog nature, and conformation of body, it should be short but bulky with strong legs, short thick neck, and a small head and all in proportion. Their job was to pull the wagons as well as for riding. Now I need a farm.
