(doesn't apply here, I am never wrong!)
James Turrell, renowned artist of the Southern California Light and Space movement, said, Art is a completed pass. You don’t just throw it out into the world— someone has to catch it.
I spent all day yesterday knitting, ripping, and reknitting the beginning of my project. It kills me to rip, but I had messed up either a decrease and done it too many times or not enogh times in another part so it had to be done. I reknit until 1 AM waiting for TY's plane to land, gave up and went to bed, and he staggered in at 2:30 from a very rainy Ft. Worth. Needless to say, going out to buy a chicken today was a major effort, so beig a deal that we are going out instead. And because I'm gonna soon plant my face on this keyboard, we are doing a continuation of yesterday's theme,
making things from things they shouldn't be made from

Wee dolly hands made of soap. you can buy an 8-pack, all with different colored and positioned hands. What worries me is how they will look after being lathred up a time or two. Missing baby fingers? OH NOOooooOOO!
Buckingham Palace, kind of a disappointment when looking at the Cathedral below because the scale shows in this one. Still Jell-o though. You can buy the molds HERE
if you are into the Royals. Or want to see Buckingham Palace jiggle.
Maybe use ROYAL Jell-O!!!!
London's famed St. Paul's Cathedral recreated in Jell-O. Cool use of camera angle, don't be fooled. I was ready to invest thinking it would be a room full of jell-o. T'ain't.
Swim Heels, Dress Flippers, Great in a tsuami I suppose. And these will look much more appropriate than those stupid heels-with-bathing-suits on beauty queen contestants. Keeps yu elevated on wet streets while killing small vermin that swim.
Cat Caves from German artist Susanne Karg’s shop Felt for Cat.
Great workmanship on these shell designs, lucky cats.
And fo the human cats~
Functional Felt: These are two animal purses by Polish artist Galina Blazejewska . Look closely and you can find the clasp. Amazing realism she gets with felt! But I gotta ask ........why.....
It takes a Village... This fits nicely into the theme if you use your squishy imagination, not the hard edged one. A town made of whale blubber and innui.
Just imagine being the only teenager there! Just imagine the isolation. Just imagine eating raw polar bear. I'd be out as fast as I could get my dog sled packed.
And another oddity- another SOAP, this time a squirrel. Bet it helps keep the lice away.
Who buys soap squirrels anyway? (I admit I would if I saw one!)
Birthday in August, in case you're pondering. Perhaps I should set up a little Paypal account to take donations.
BUY SANDY SOME SOAP, click here (it's a joke, folks.)
