Ran to the studio to get some yarn wound into balls this morning, but had to leave before I got too far to make a hair appointment. after that I hit two furniture stores looking for a new coffee table for here and a credenza/tv stand for Newton. No luck, but I did collect quite a bunch of photos. I scout things and winnow them down to 2 choices so I can then present those to TY instead of flooding his brain with too many choices. Works for us, I am the advance (wo)man.
So, tomorrow I'll get the rest of the yarn wound in between other things. I do have to sweep a couple of cocoons off the door I noticed, probably from lack of steady use these last few weeks. Might have to get that Wal-Mart vacuum out again.

Amalya Nane Tumanian received my MFA from the Academy of Art University of San Francisco, California, and have a BA from the Yerevan State Academy of Arts, Armenia. In the spring of 2013, I completed M.Ed in Content Area from the Marylhurst University, Marylhurst, Oregon. My past one man show was this March at the Streff Gallery, Marylhurst, OR, and recently four of my works were accepted at the juried show and will be on display from June 11th – August 2nd , 2013 at the Gresham City Hall Gallery, Gresham, Oregon.
French artist Mademoiselle Maurice (previously here and here) has two fun new pieces up this month as part of the 2013 ARTAQ Festival in Angers, France. Requiring over 30,000 folded components, the artist relied on help from school children and people living in nearby “leisure centers” to help complete all of the pieces in time for installation. Hundreds of additional volunteers were on-hand to help cover a stairwell leading to Montée St-Maurice which was completed on May 31st. See many more photos here.
