I should be institutionalized.

Oh YES, today is all about Big Money!
Belfast art student, Aisling Smyth, her embroidered banknote, completed as part of her studies at the University of Ulster. It’s a terrific piece of work with a high level of detail. combining free machine, hand embroidery, screen printing and applique, this work proves that she’s got what it takes!
Whoa! Change of scale!
Paul Rousso also works with currency, told ya it was Big Money!
Another Meaningful Paul Rousso project:
French artist Phillipe Petremant creates a comical collection of artworks entitled 'the magnificent seven' by folding banknotes and transforming
the ornamental motifs into absurdist portraits, currently being shown at festival circulation(s), at parc de bagatelle in paris. pétremant’s
mutation of ordinary and usual objects into works of art challenges one's concept of reality, blurring the limit between what is credible and what is not.

6. Cement a little every day, rather than add new fertilizers. This is a simple reminder to stay the course, continue with the original plan and keep that in mind rather than adding adding adding as you go. I guess this is pertinent to someone like me who continually messes with a projects as I go along until it bares little resemblence to whatever my original thought was. I'll try to be more observant of this. You too?

Back on my own art front (hmmm, interesting turn of phrase, no?) I am still knitting. I measured out 5 yard increments of yarn today so I can track how much I need to finish before I start splitting the 4 ply yarn down. What a pain. But last night I knitted into the night while watching the last three episodes of Downton Abbey! Yea, TY- he found that season and the next on Amazon for me. I think I probably blasted through those three episodes when I discovered there was another season available to look forward to. They are also advertising Season 4 but I hear that's not due until January. If it's out there I will find it! Or Jackie will find it and I'll get the info from her!
Fireworks late into the night but for some reason it didn't seem to bother the White Dog, usually she goes into a coma in the back of my closet wearing her Thundershirt and shaking like leaves. But last night she stayed next to me and pretty much slept. Glad that's over officially for another year. The damn things are sold on every street corner here in open tents so we will hear them being set off all weekend but the heavy part is over.
