Household tips: Found this on the interwebs too- did you know there is a push-in tab on aluminum foil boxes that folds into the center of the roll stays in the box? I didn't either, so I just went and pulled out all my boxes and stuck my thumbs in the ends.
Matthew Cusick, “Fiona’s Wave,” 2005. Cusick creates outsized collaged paintings from fragments of atlases and school geography books published between 1872 and 1945, a time of much mapping and remapping.
And in a similar vein, Guy Catling softens photographs with pieces of collaged fabric totally changing the feeling of the photographs.

The other day I was surfing around and found a link that I followed and whammo- a picture of the old lace dog I made 2 years ago appeared on a knitting forum! I read the discussion about it and all seemed to really like it but there was no reference to me being the artist so I wrote to the author and posted the story of Lacey. Somehow she misinterpreted my note as accusing her of stealing the dog, so several emails ensued until she understood I wasn't angry, just wanted my name on it. Finally I forgot about it and moved on. Well, yesterday and today this happened in my blog stats:
