According to Buddhism, inequality is due not only to heredity, environment, ‘nature and nurture’, but also to Karma. . . our own past actions and our own present doings. We ourselves are responsible for our own happiness and misery. We create our own Heaven. We create our own Hell. We are the architects of our own fate. Karma is action, and Vipaka, fruit or result, is its reaction.” -Ven. Mahasi Sayadaw
More things I Don't Want for Christmas
More PT, looks like a steady date three times a week for me from now into perpetuity. At least I get out of the house, dressed badly, and my only choice is the studio! And frankly that's exactly what I need to be doing anyway. Fixing my shoulder AND fixing my psyche. So that's the program. Today I even turned on the AC while drinking hot chocolate- kind of an odd combo, eh? Only have limited time here so I am going to get back to work. See you tomorrow, meanwhile I hope you like today's artist! And pigs.
