Here's Molly! This is in honor of her penpal Delilah, the bulldoggie, who is having some medical problems and not recovering as quickly as we had hoped. She sort of looks like a dirty floor mop here, guess we have to make a beauty appointment soon. Get well soon Delilah.
Solved the corner problem of the spiral snowball quilt early this morning as I was waiting for the Fosamax to take. I have added a blank square on each side of the top and bottom rows, leaving only 1 piece missing at each corner. The good thing is that by posting the in-progress pictures here I can see it completely differently and make the changes I need to. Meanwhile this is getting a whole lot bigger than I intended- was just going to use this series as samples and try to wrangle a teaching job at the shop in Jupiter for the fall. I laid out the next version on the floor yesterday, and then have a bunch more to sew- probably should have only made 15 squares because as you cut the quarter circles out of the corners, new juxtapositions appear and you make more squares. Sylvia warned me but as usual I did not listen. Oh well, it has been fun to play with cloth again.
