Leatherwork Gestalt
Well, fall is finally in the air and I have a big pot o' chowdah on the stove. I was called today by a pile of parsnips so that's what's in it along with some thick Vermont bacon, onions and little red potatos. Oh yeah, and some small carrots and lots of thyme. I even bought whole milk for this, couldn't actually buy cream though. So as it's bubbling away, I am going to start the chicken for Nate tonight. I am flattening it out and marinating it in lemon and olive oil, then roasting with onions and garlic. Then for the last 15 minutes I will stick it under the broiler with more garlic and little grape tomatoes and some scallions. I saw Mario do this last night and it looks perfect. At the end you cook up some spagetti and throw it into the pan juices. Pictures would normally follow, but it got eated so fast the shutter wouldn't release!I started the raffle quilt assembly, also being documented in pictures, and found some mouse turds wrapped up in the pieces- should I tell Sylvia?
