Racially Micronesia Newcomer

Thank you!
You're another reason that I like being involved with the artistic
community...There is such openess and sharing of ideas...
no secretive Venetian glass kind of attitude. Jenny

A ringing endorsement! This woman, Jenny, contacted me for info about photo transfer and I answered her question, she had more questions, I answered again and today I got a 'thanks'! Unheard of these days. Maybe someone should clue her in that manners are out of style. I am not answering this e-mail because I am soon on my way to ply the glassy secrets out of unsuspecting Venitians!

And more about the Venice trip: TY upgraded the hotel yesterday and that means I will have to upgrade the tatty suitcase and wardrobe. There is a sample menu on the hotel website with some creepy crawlies at great expense- don't think we'll be eating there much, I much prefer going to small local trattorias anyway. He also has us leaving Venice a day earlier and heading up to Lake Como- like this is his brilliant idea. This was the trip I wanted in the first place.

This is how we work- I am the idea guy- I throw out thoughts and plans and wishes like buckshot and he ducks and dodges me completely. But sometimes a pellet hits so he starts digesting and mulling and doing his internal and infernal back and forths. During this phase I stay quiet and don't clutter his brain, and certainly don't pull the trigger again (unless it's a completely different target). Finally he comes up with HIS idea which of course is just what I had thrown out earlier.

This morning he read me an AirItalia ad from the NYTs, Boston to Venice direct, business class- be still my heart, for the same price we're paying Boston to Milan. The 'problemo' is that you have to book FIFTY days ahead. So instead we are huddled with the masses and their goats in the tail. Oh well, we will at least be learning Italian curses.

Off to the eye doctor again, eye pressure out of whack, am on a glaucoma watch. Next it will be gout and impetaigo, or even better: carbuncles.
