Put as Auxiliary Foodstuff

Today Chicago is trying to outlaw Foie Gras! Damn, sometimes I wish I was a duck being forcefed. There is also legislation pending in NY and MA- CA has already outlawed the poor duckies.

The Good Eye Doc just called about my tests, the glaucoma is still iffy, she says that the high pressure may just be my own particular body make up but she is submiting my test results to the 'expert'- anyway and we will hear what to do next. Yesterday I had HRT where they numb the cornea and put a little thing that looks like a Dremel (ick) right on the eye to take measurements, then a retinal scan after that. That one I like because I get to see such amazing colors, then it prints out pictures of my optic nerves and I get to see them. So, the theme song of the day is still 'Three Blind Mice'.

I got a surprise package in the mail from the Allentown Museum with a very nice note about participating at such short notice and a whole stack of fat quarters. It arrived just in time to start that baby quilt for Craig and Kat's baby which is due any minute now.
For baby quilts it's important to use new crisp cottons rather than my usual stash of lame and vintage so I guess I gotta get on it.

Off to Bulges, fun must wait.
