On Sleep be Reputed Scathing

Great news this morning- Craig and Kat's baby was born, a boy named Brandon Roberts (I think that's what he said). I yelled at him that the baby is now 8 hours old and no pictures have been posted yet. Geesh, now I know what grandmothers are for. Wish I was there to handle this for them in my great-aunty capacity. They received the quilt just a few days ago and Craig seemed to like it, whew. Maybe the baby will too.

Both my kids, in-law kid, and date-of-Nate are at the Red Sox game right now, probably in their seats. It is all quite complicated but they have to win this game to go into playoffs tomorrow to see who plays in the World Series. Because I am old, I got the pennant thing all screwed up, and in reading the NYTs you'd think the Yankees won the whole nine yards. I should learn to consider the source, right? Anyway, I hope that the game is a good one, they sure have an incredible day to be out there and I hope that Mandy doesn't drink too much beer, have a cigarette on an empty stomach and keel over again (thus having to watch the rest of the game on a wide screen tv in the air conditioned (!) first aid room which makes me thing that it was on purpose.) But HEY! She isn't my problem any longer, is she? Well, except for the smoking thing.
