And my other subject du jour is the emotional state of my dog-niece. I am getting rumors that the poor thing has been put on Xanex. I am buying black turtlenecks and grease for my face and am planning a search-and-rescue even if it means I have to run 5 miles a day with the unfortunate animal once I rescue her. (Which is of course what is wrong with her to begin with- lack of exercise.) And I am sticking to that diagnosis because I can see what a difference it makes with the Adorable Molly on the days we hit the 10,000 steps mark, or even come close. You can't get a working dog and expect it to adjust to a sedintary life. Geesh. What was wrong with the breeder that the family wasn't screened, or at the very least educated about the needs of the breed! Molly wants to rename her 'Sistah' if she comes to live here. We'll see about that. (!) She is putting that cart before the horse.
