Finally, a picture of the wreath with the hibiscus flowers I nailed to my garage, not an easy feat on top of a 12' ladder and nailing into cement! Here is what I saw these morning as I was taking the picture at 7 AM- look carefully and you'll see th moon nestled there in the palms:

Next, I took a picture of the spectacular flower arrangement my SIL sent to us- this isn't the SIL who found my blog and got bent out of shape that I was complaining about her, this is the other one. The flowers are hydrangea with roses that actually have a rose fragrence- how long has it been since I've smelled that! And then the whole thing is nestled into a bowl of cranberries. Absolutely beautiful.

I don't have the same fond feeling for poinsettias- this plant is quite beautiful and was sent from TY's old office but all I can think of is those leggy poinsettias wearing on in to May with the red tinfoil around the plastic pot- sad. Meanwhile this one is in good shape so I will simply toss it when it looses it's red leaves. PROMISE.So now you've seen all my lush real vegetation, and here is what passed for our Christmas tree this year. It wouldn't have even been called into such service except for some reason people kept giving me ornaments and I had to put them somewhere.
Talk about sad...And now we're gonna talk about HAPPY. Here is Bailey opening her new disco ball we gave her to use at her 16th birthday party coming up. She has decided she wants a dance party and how can you dance without a disco ball?

Bailey will meanwhile have an exciting summer as she has been picked with three other kids to be the Texas representatives to the Special Olympics in Ames, Iowa.
