Rebuild Frangipani

Since I got home Monday afternoon I have been out straight bizzy doing things to get caught up- getting slides mailed, photos printed and mailed, postcard images ready for our show mailer, applications filled, the quilt for the permanent collection at NEQM ready with it's accompanying documentation, and even a CD with 'in process' photos, and finally today I got 9 pieces ready and delivered for our show in March complete with price lists. I am exhausted! But the really nice thing is how 'cared for' I have been on this trip. I was picked up for the lecture the other night and delivered home, I was taken to dinner last night to a favorite bistro by an old friend I barely get to see, today I met 5 more friends for Thai food so one could deliver me free passes to the Palm Beach big-deal craft show this weekend, I was taken to a gallery, and delivered back to my door. Then tonight I was invited over to my old friend Judy's house and her husband Fred (who made this faboulous pot for me)
made veal cannoloni with homemade pasta. Yum. I didn't have the heart to talk about the veal I had last night too .

Yesterday Mandy came over with pieces of her pig, and this morning at 8:30 Nate showed up with a bagel with lox for breakfast. So, now that my camera battery has died and I can't photograph and download another thing, now that the applications are filled out and mailed, I am pretty much freed up. This has been a fun trip home and I haven't missed the sunshine or Molly a bit. The weather has been wonderful- NO SNOW, and in spite of it raining out now it's still not bad at all. I am not given the chance to miss Ralph- he has called about every hour.So tomorrow I get to mess around a bit without committments until dinner time- should be a whole other good day. I am a lucky woman. And to prove how lucky I am, here is my present Nate brought me from Australia:

Yup, a marsupial paw...er, leg? Maybe forearm? Whatever, ICK. Even thought it is a bottle opener too I am having problems with this.

And here is the varmint that brought it in his defunct Australian rugby Christmas Bunny shirt- the boy is badly in need of the Fab Five:
We are supposed to go out to dinner tomorrow night and I told him he has to wear real pants---------or I won't pay.
