WebCam

Doggie Day Care in Jupiter Finally! Molly is in Day Care for 2 days while I am in Boston and TY is making golf history. I couldn't get their 'small dog' web cam to broadcast all day yesterday- like I am expecting them to be beating her with sticks or something, but I was able to watch the big dogs all schooling after any human who entered the arena. Yeah, Big Dogs get an ARENA, small dogs get an AREA. Anyway, I called them this morning and sure 'nuff I am now watching her circling *LIKE A CAGED ANIMAL* again. I was better off without the webcam but she seems to be doing fine with a Westie and a Parson Russell Terrier. Looks like Aryan Nation Day at the doggie day care today- everyone is white. But back up in the 'arena' things are well enough intigrated to make up for such a social gaff in the 'area'.

I was telling my 2000 best friends on QuiltArt about how I made my business cards after the post office changed my zip code the same year the telephone company changed my area code and my ISP got bought out, changing my e-mail address. So I wanted to post one of those cards and I'll be damned if I can locate one. At the same time I made a bunch of plain white cards using a quilt image on half and a collage image on the other half- I have been using those instead of the faded image ones. Now I know why.

I've mede some good progress today finishing up the Journal Quilt project to date- I now have to get the images out and ruffle around and see what else needs to be done about that.

Then I have to climb to the highest point in the storage room, 12' ceilings, and get the huge box of old quilts off the top shelf- this is where I will probably fall and hit my head and no one will find me till something starts to smell bad. VQF is doing a retrospective of their winning quilts and they have requested three of mine. Mandy has one so that is available but I have NO recollection of whether the others are sold or lost or even in condition to show after 6 years of being quilt-compost in the acid-laden cardboard box in the damp storage room. Ewwww.

A miniature Pinscer just arrive and they are all welcoming him heartily...and now he is part of the pack... circling with the others. So much for segregation, glad that's over, celebrating Martin Luther King Month and all. Oh. It's Black History Month. OK. Nevermind. What color history do we celebrate in March?
