You're going to get a peek into my sick hoarding life here- this is a picture of one little end of my studio with all my 'logrolls' of quilts. I think each one has maybe 10-12 pieces in it according to size.
All of them have an 'expired shelf life' as far as exhibitions, though some of them have been pretty distinguished in their day. The next picture is of still another pile about to be 'logged'...and forgotten.
And her is my real secret- see up on top of the shelves in my very cramped storeroom? Logs, I think last time I got the 12' ladder up there I counted five or six logs plus the box on the left full of what I labled six years ago for the move, "OLD QUILTS". I think I meant old as in vintage, not just my older work- but the box it too heavy to get down myself and I just don't remember though I thought at the time it would be quite clear.
As soon as I come back from Florida permanently (well, semi-permanently) in a few weeks this will be priority #1- Organization and Downloading. Watch this space.
UPDATE: oh damn, I just found six more stacked up and I am not even thinking about the ones in Florida.
Oh, guess what else I just did?
