Solo Library Show

Yesterday I visited the library where my show will be in November and December and here are the pictures of the space- it's one large room used for meetings and conferences, but the tables will be out most of the time, and the folding wall won't be up either. Everything hangs from security hanging equipment so I am glad I have time to adapt whatever I put in. And the deal is I can also put in my collages which will fit perfectly inthe space between the moulding and the chair rails. (I am not thrilled about either!) I decided not to have an opening but instead will do a talk during the first week.

Then beat feet for Florida! I don't take it down until after Christmas so will stay a few days after to get it all home, then fly back to Florida again. TY will have to be on his own schedule. So, here are the room pictures- the stuff that is up now is work from the high school. Small space but I think I can handle it myself.































My Other News arrived as I checked my phone messages when we landed in Palm Beach this afternoon- there was a call from the NEQM wanting to use my quilt in their permanent collection, Lotus Eaters, on a line of TEA they will be selling! What a great idea- I e-mailed them back right away and told them to order an extra bunch for me too! If any of you visit me, you will get one. If there was anything this quilt was meant to do- it is to be on tea packaging!
