Well, not quite but close enough! My good friend is borrowing my Tanks and Trucks Necklace to wear- here is her message about it:

"I'll be picking the necklace up over the weekend and I REALLY can't wait
to wear it during our tour of the State Department Diplomatic Rooms! We
need to go through security (had to send copies of our passports so that
they could check us out ahead of time!) and I've heard they can be
excrutiatingly thorough--I hope the necklace will pass muster, so to speak."
She is attending an alumnae group meeting in Washington and is also going to the Textile Museum and wearing a coat (the Tibetan Coat pattern from Folkwear) I gave her years ago- one of the first things I made back on Nantucket while stayiing at Clair Murray's guest house and taking classes from Virginia Avery! The coat has trapunto design flowers around the bottom edge based on all the flowers that were in bloom in her gardens at the time. The coat was named 'Fair Gardens Coat' after Clair's guest house. I think this was in the late 70's.
My 'stuff' sure gets around, wish I did too!
