Prepare His Wait on Talent

Yesterday afternoon was very productive with Carol and Nancy- I am so lucky to have a few responsible and creative and punctual crit group friends to rely on. Basically i *thought* I was just going to turn in my slides and hope for the best but once we got going we managed to get the whole proposal done and ready for copying. The date it has to be handed in is Monday so it's 'in the can' except for a visit to Kinkos. I am glad I was able to actually do something on this show since I am out of town for most of these things.

On the way home I stopped and bought food for my stay, came home and ate it like a starving Armenian because all I had had all day was stale wheat chex with soy milk. Yuk. Today I made sure I had my fill of smoked salmon to make up for it. I flipped some more quilts around on the living room floor trying what to hang in the hall for the party- would like to get that done before I go back to FL. The 'quilt issue' is getting out of hand- I need to rent a storage facility to keep them, after so many years I have too many here to keep, and the wee storeroom isn't helpful. Looking at some of the older ones is depressing, so shop-worn at this point, I really should judt toss them out or cut them up into pillow covers ...or SOMEthiing! Please post any ideas.

The other thing that has gotten out of hand is my computer- I have downloaded four CDs full of quilt images just to free some space so I can get the pictures off my camera. I really must get more memory in the new computer, and hope I can get that as soon as I get back in May. So now I have the space, and cannot find my camera- wish it had The Clapper on it.

June Underwood and I keep threatening to have a quilt "inventory reduction sale" to thin our quilt stashes. Don't know how that would work. Anyway, I feel your pain. I just pulled a bunch of quilts out to select several for a small show and now they are unrolled all over the house--stuff I had forgotten, probably mercifully. Ugh.

do you want to sell them? what about on your site that you sell things?(forgot the name of it, but you know) You might want to have a personal showing for your biggest admirers...
