Waiting for the Moonrats

I have many more 'M' animals, stay tuned. I brainstormed the other day and have barely dented the first column, and I am leaving out magicians and musicians (at least for now).

Today I went invitation shopping to the MAUL, a daunting occupation. I wanted something 'modern' and stylish for Amanda's graduation party we are planning. She has given me her list of friends and I have added the family names and will have about 30 people I think, to celebrate our brand new family MSW. Really I want to acknowledge the hard work she has done these last 2 years. After a very rocky start, this kid (?) has proved herself a few times over. So today I called Nate and have him lined up as a starter-bartender as people arrive. I will have the food ready ahead, just have to decide what but can't do much in that arena until I get back to Boston.

But back to the invitations: I found some elegant Vera Wang invitations with simple chocolate and lime borders and very cool envelope linings, very expensive too because I needed 2 boxes. I know she will like them because they are that combo of modern/stylish that the Style Channel and Domino magazine are always touting- basically recycled 70's design and color (not my favorite!) Anyway I paid and was headed out the door and there in front of me were the PERFECT cards- 20 to a pack too.
They have 5 pictures of Wonder Woman comic pages on the fronts- Wonder Woman... couldn't be better. So I went back to the cashier and bought those too. (I will take back the others after I think about it- but I think I have already done that!) So, Wonder Woman it is- I only wish I still had her little Wonder Woman Underroos for table decorations.

You may not have her underoos anymore, but you can always get her something new and use it as a center piece (put it in a mini quilt/collage/shadowbox thingie):

Everything you ever wanted to know about Wonder Woman and ohsomuch more.

WW beats Vera Wang any day. Finishing that MSW is truly a heroic feat . . . I did all my course work for the MA and then never got that d....d thesis/practicum done. So, congratulations to her! And to you, for being supportive.
