Nobody believes me when I say Molly watches television- here she is watching Cesar Milan, her favorite show. She now is so much more mature and doesn't go winging into the room behind the television to find the dogs! She also enjoys hippo shows and alligator shows, but we shield her from the shows with carnage because of her age. We also feed her cooked meat in spite of being told we should be getting her fresh frozen rabbits. Oy.
For some reason today knitting blogs are being sent to me. This first one is knitted a DNA helix which I suppose could be a great baby toy. Maybe be really cool to use the baby's own DNA... I wonder if you can do that.

Next I got the knitty-surprise e-mail today, and I sure was surprised with this umbrella! Don't think my skills are up to this, plus I think it may be a bit heavy carrying around all this knitting.

And finally here is a picture of me taking a picture of the hemp sweater-from-hell. Do my shadow arms look fat? I washed and blocked it, and it did get somewhat softer, but after wearing it all day it was really wearing away some of my hide. This will be a short-term garment, but I really do like the tee-shirt style and the hemp wasn't hot in spite of it's stiffness. Plus I love the color, so what's a little discomfort? Next time I wear bandaids.

is it smokable?
Frankly, it might have been a better use for this yarn. I won't be using it again, the hell with sustainable and green and all that- gimme alpaca and Koigu, yes, gimme Koigu.
If it were me, I'd keep that sweater by the washer, and toss it into every load it wouldn't turn pink.
I suspect it might soften up a lot, if given some abuse.....
