Transitional Cuniformed Flyleaf

I was met with this cheery news this morning- my biorhythms for the day. I probably should just go get back in bed, damn this Protestant ethic..

Wow- I was right, I shouldn't have left the bedroom until maybe Wednesday. I shoulda known though because since 6 AM I have been tearing the house apart looking for the AA batteries because the mouse is flashing and needs new juice. By the way, if ever you decide a wireless mouse is a good idea, fergitabouit. I throw away more dead batteries than a third world country (another reason for me not to have a Prius!) Anyway, now I have to go out to find a drugstore quick, like a cough medicine junkie. Took it out an shook it a bit and have about three more words before I am cut off...

But the reason I am up so early and doing Easter Egg hunts on a Sunday morning is that I finished the first jacket from the 7 pieces of Britex silk and need to post some pictures about it.
Oh! I forgot about the first hunt of the day, tore the studio apart looking for the pattern pieces to the next top, I know I had them the other day but certainly don't now, and I am now being forced to make my own again, and I wonder why nothing fits right. And I really want to start this today, in spite of me being intellectually and emotionally challenged. (Forget physically, I was never there to begin with so being down 95% is no different than being up 95%.)
Working on the embroidery for the front. following the lines of the damask.
Closeup of the 4 fabrics used with the com0leted embroidery and the bakelite buckle closing.
Finished piece.

Found this amazing Wooden Periodic Table Table site. It plays right into my need for order and categorizing AND making something out of not much!

Of course I had to choose silicon because it's Sand, or more true it's will become sand---get it? My favorite element, ask my old high school friend Vel!

And finally, I now have 16 new AA batteries and that should be enough for a few days with the wireless keyboard and mousie- wish they would have mentioned it when I bought it. Live and learn.

Finally, here was last nights dinner elements- I really don't care for asparagus while TY loves it, and I adore golden (or any color) beets and he can't even smell them so we now get separate vegetables. So beautiful, eh?
